Philosophy, Politics and Economics —or PPE for short–is a unique major at CMC, combining deep learning and reading, intense and collaborative seminar and tutorial discussions, and lots of writing. The curriculum is tailored to students interested in these three disciplines, and in thinking about their intersections. The classes are limited to two tracks of 12 students each year; students meet with their professors in small seminars and weekly tutorials. 6 dedicated PPE courses spanning three semesters, starting in the spring of Sophomore year, are the core requirements for the major. PPE majors are chosen through an application process in the Fall of Sophomore year. The application deadline this year is October 24^th.  We have two scheduled information sessions for interested students, at which you will have the opportunity to meet PPE faculty and students and find out more about the Program.
